NOAMUNDI: In line with its effort towards Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), Tata Steel’s Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) Division today organised a seminar titled Udaan for women employees at JRDTTI Auditorium, Noamundi.
The seminar was organised with an objective of appreciating the uniqueness that women bring in the changing world of work. Recognising the positive impact of gender diversity, Tata Steel launched a comprehensive and far-reaching D&I programme called MOSAIC in June 2015.
Tata Steel, several initiatives have been taken to build an equitable environment and diverse workplace. MOSAIC is a driver towards this goal. It defines the path the company should take to build a people oriented culture that both celebrates and encourages D&I. It is also one of the steps towards Sustainable Development Goal of UN to achieve gender equality and empower women and girls.
