NEW DELHI: Tata Power Delhi Distribution opened a learning center to extend a helping hand towards development of differently abled children. The center is being run in association with Bansuri Charitable Trust at D-Block, Sector- 11, Rohini, Delhi.
The center was jointly inaugurated by Alok Shriram, Vice Chairman & Deputy MD, DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. and Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power-DDL. The center is named ‘SHAD Learning Centre’ and will provide therapies and life skill training to the differently abled children.
Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited said, “his training center is a home for children with special needs. Here, we will provide them not only special teaching to improve their daily life skills but also provide customized teaching through certified medical practitioners. I believe this initiative of ours will bring in lasting changes in the lives of these children” .
