JAMSHEDPUR: More Indian companies are adopting Social Media Guidelines for their employees.
These are the official guidelines for social media at Tata Group. Recently Tata group has issued Social Media Guidelines for their employees and adopted Social Media policies.
If you are a Tata employee contributing to blogs, wikis, social networks, virtual worlds, or any other kind of social media these guidelines are for you.
Tata Group expect all who participate in social media on behalf of Tata Group to be trained, to understand and to follow these guidelines.
“As social media has grown in functionality and reach over the years, it has changed the way people communicate on the digital space . Today, we are aware of social media and its relevance as a networking/ communication platform. It is used daily by most of us in our personal lives, to connect with people and to share and receive information.” Tata Steel said.
According to the Tata Steel website, In view of the growing relevance of social media and its ramifications, Tata Group has issued Social Media Guidelines for its employees across the group. All employees of Tata Steel should also be guided by the Social Media Guidelines of the Tata Group.
