CHENNAI (India CSR): Tamil Nadu’s Minister for School Education, Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, announced on June 23, 2023, that the Namma School Foundation has received a substantial donation of Rs 68.48 crores. The donation, garnered from various corporations and philanthropists, will be channelled towards enhancing the infrastructure facilities in government schools across the state.
In a grand ceremony at Radisson Blu, Chennai, the third edition of the ASSOCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability Awards recognised corporations contributing positively to society through sustainable initiatives. The awards were presented by Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Tamil Nadu Minister for School Education, and Thiru Meyyanathan Siva V, Environment Minister, who also discussed significant governmental measures and announcements.
