MUMBAI: Sir Dr. Huz (Huzaifa Khorakiwala), Founder, The World Peacekeepers Movement (TWPM) & CEO and Trustee, Wockhardt Foundation, has been honored with Peace Ambassador of the Year 2017 award by the Centre of Peace studies (CPS), Sri Lanka during the International Peace Day (Sri Lanka) 2017 conference held in Colombo.
Sir Dr. Huz said, “It gives me immense pleasure to receive this honor. I thank the jury for noticing and rewarding my work. It is a great motivation to work towards peace with my team-my peace warriors.”
CPS works towards promoting the quality of education to prevent violence, to strengthen a climate of tolerance and security, and to foster the development of values of peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding as well as capacities for the non-violent resolution of conflicts.
Work of Sir Dr. Huz is in the same lines with that of CPS, promoting peace through The World Peacekeepers Movement (TWPM) and spreading the importance of 7 values- Gratitude, Forgiveness, Love, Humility, Giving, Patience and Truth to attain inner peace.
