ANGUL: Accomplished Kuchipudi danseuse and President of JSPL Foundation Mrs. Shallu Jindal celebrated New Year with the children of Adruta Children Home, Angul. During a special visit to the Home on the New Year eve, she interacted with the children, distributed sweets among the children and encouraged the Children to chose a goal for their life and chase it with passion. The celebration started with cake cutting by Mrs. Jindal.
Interacting with the children, Mrs. Jindal appreciated the artistic skill and cultural performance of the Children. “It is really exciting to celebrate the New Year with the Children at Adruta Children Home. I am very happy that JSPL Foundation has been part of the effort by Adruta Children Home to make the lives of the children, who are deprived of their parental love and care, happier and meaningful,” She said after the visit. She planted a sapling in the campus of Adruta Children Home.
She also supervised the Building – Jindal Home – and its facilities handed over to Adruta Children Home for accommodation of the inmate.
It is to be noted that JSPL Foundation has constructed a three storey building of 6600 Sq. ft area having six rooms, six bathrooms, three dormitory rooms to accommodate 50 to 60 children including the new born. This building has been handed over to Adruta Children Home for accommodation of homeless children.
JSPL Foundation under the able guidance of its President Smt. Shallu Jindal has been focusing on child centric holistic and sustainable development initiatives which will ensure building a strong foundation of Future India.
Adruta Children Home provides home and comprehensive care to homeless children. In addition to providing food, clothing, shelter, education, and medicine, the organization creates a conducive environment to showcase latent potential of children. It manages children shelter home in eight locations in Odisha, including Angul.
Among others, DGM (CSR) Mrs. Puspalata Satapathy, AGM (CSR) Nilendu Chatterjee, AGM (CSR) Ashutosh Mishra, Adruta’s Sagarika Mishra, Satyabhama Nayak and others were present during the visit.
