RAIGARH: INDIACSR (India’s Largest CSR Network) is organizing one day quality driven seminar on CSR of Mining and Power (Towards Socio-Economic Progress) on 20 July 2012 at Hotel Shreshtha, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
Collector Shri Amit Kataria will grace the seminar as chief guest and deliver key note address to the august gathering. He will share his valuable views and knowledge on Corporate Social Responsibility and how it can be implemented as a tool of socio-economy development of the region.
Senior officials from District Trade and Industries Center, Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board Raigarh, Dept of mining , Dept of Education will also show their presence. Around 100 senior and middle management personnel from mining, power and steel industries, NGO leaders, researchers and experts from all over India are attending the seminar.
Rusen Kumar, Director, INDIACSR informed that the objective of the seminar is to discuss the overall Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trend and raise awareness about the emerging trends in CSR. Seminar also addresses the need to strengthen knowledge on research and development in CSR. The seminar further aimed at formulation follow up actions and identifying pilot activities to adopt innovative approach in CSR for region.
