Sanskriti University Organizes Health Camp in School

MATHURA: The School of Medical and Allied Sciences of Sanskriti University has been conducting various developmental activities in the nearby areas. The School conducted a Health Camp at Samvid Gurukulam, Vrindavan.

The health camp initiative of Sanskriti University is aimed at sensitizing the young students about various aspects of health and nutrition so as to help them maintain good health and avoid falling sick. The team of professionals from the university conducted the basic health related checks and collected the required information from the students and provided them relevant feedback about the status of their health.

Chancellor Sachin Gupta said that the University is committed to the cause of delivering excellence in the domain of community engagement over and above its focus on delivering quality education and domain related research. Sanskriti University shall continue to conduct such programs to enhance the health and career prospects of the students from the nearby region.

Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy said that the students and their parents should consistently monitor various factors and dimensions pertaining to their health, hygiene, immunity, cleanliness and allied aspects.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh appreciated the sincere efforts of the members of School of Medical and Allied Sciences for conducting health camps in schools of nearby areas as a proactive measure to enhance the quality of health and wellness of the students and other stakeholders of the school and other academic institutions in the region.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhay Kumar expressed his happiness over the consistent efforts made by School of Medical and Allied Health Sciences in working towards implementation of various plans to assess the level of fitness and health parameters of the students and employees of Schools and academic institutions.
