RAURKELA:  Times of India reported that an employee of Rourkela Steel Plant died in an accident on the factory premises on November 14th 2012.

Mr Pradeep Kumar Bahala (34), a doorman in the guide car of coke ovens battery no 1B, slipped and fell while it was descending. He was crushed between the guide car and coke ovens.

Mr GS Prasad, the CEO of RSP said that “RSP will provide all possible support to the bereaved family.”

He has also assured that Bahala’s wife will be provided a job. An inquiry was ordered into the accident.
