Mumbai – With a vision to build an inclusive world, Rising Flame introduces ‘I Can Lead Fellows’ under which a group of six women from across India will be given intensive one-on-one training to address their specific ambitions.
The initiative broadly focuses on theoretical learning and practical approaches, making them equipped to address key problems and barriers in their environment and on the path of achieving their goals.
It’s a pioneering initiative to offer a platform for the self-development and professional growth to young women with disabilities.
The six women chosen, between the ages of 20 and 35, include students, corporate employees, and development professionals.
Women will receive multi-layered mentoring and support throughout the year.
The programme pairs a person with a woman mentor, with or without disabilities who are leaders in their field which helps to focus on the goals and realise the dreams.
The programme involves group training which will be conducted by the Rising Flame Mentor on specific curriculum designed for the programme on self- development in the first two quarters and professional growth in the last two.
Counseling and therapeutic support from a Rising Flame counselor will be provided to ensure the mental well-being.
A Rising Flame executive will help navigating the course easily and create a friendly peer-learning environment.
