Rajinder Singh Ahuja was appointed as the Head of Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (HSE&S) for Vedanta on July 20, 2021. Before that, he was the Deputy CEO of TSPL.

In his current role, he is responsible for designing and implementing the company’s HSE&S policies and initiatives with a strong focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), advocacy, and governance. He works to bring in globally recognized best practices through the adoption of technology, automation, and digitalization.

He also collaborates with the business CEOs and IR/Communications teams to create a strong corporate HSE brand through communications with both external and internal stakeholders.

Ahuja has been with Vedanta since 2003 and has played a key role in establishing benchmark practices in HSE&S as the HSE Head of the company’s Zinc business. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad College of Technology (NIT Bhopal).
