Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), seven major road projects have been approved, including:

  • Lailunga: Gehna Jharia to Labhnipara (3.60 km, Rs 2.22 crore).

These roads will boost rural economies and ensure seamless connectivity for residents.

Each school building, costing Rs 75.23 lakh, includes facilities in Tamnar (High School Jivri, Samarum, Mahaloi, and Dakshin Regaon), Kharsia (High School Teli Pali and Puslda), and Raigarh (High School Sampai and Regda). Additionally, Rs 1.88 crore will fund the construction of 10 classrooms in Tamnar’s Badgaon and Kachkoba (Rs 70.36 lakh), six classrooms in Pusaur’s Swami Atmanand English Medium School (Rs 48.40 lakh), and additional classrooms in Dongitarai (Rs 70 lakh). The Rs 28.95 crore DMF projects are proving to be a game-changer for Raigarh’s socio-economic development. Sourced from mining activities, these funds are being strategically utilized by the district administration to prioritize education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The initiatives are bridging the gap between urban and rural areas, fostering inclusive growth across the district.

The Road Ahead: Sustained Development

The completion of these Rs 28.95 crore projects is set to redefine Raigarh’s future. Local residents have expressed optimism about the positive changes these initiatives are bringing to their lives. The district administration is committed to completing these projects on time and plans to leverage additional DMF funds for further community welfare, ensuring sustained development for years to come.
