MANGALORE: PRERANA, a Charitable Trust, funded and managed by employees of Infosys Mangalore Development Centre (DC), organized Pratibha Poshak, a scholarship program for students of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod districts on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
Organized for the tenth consecutive year, the program was held to distribute scholarships worth Rs. 11.48 Lakhs to 163 beneficiary students who are pursuing professional courses. These meritorious students from economically poorer backgrounds belong to institutions such as Yakshagana Kalaranga, Dhrithi Foundation, Supraja Foundation and BevinjeSridhara Kakkillaya Foundation.
The event was organized in the premises of Infosys Mangalore and was attended by M.Chandra Sekhar, IGP & Commissioner of Police, Mangalore City along with other dignitaries.
