PNC Menon, Founder of Sobha Group, and an eminent real estate tycoon, climbs up in Forbes Global Ranking and becomes the richest Omani Citizen in the list. The achievement further highlights his position as a visionary leader and industry trailblazer in India and the Middle East, as well as marks a milestone in the country’s thriving real estate market.

Journey of Resilience

In the narrative of success, tales of resilience and tenacity often stand out, and PNC Menon’s journey shows how determination can overcome challenges. Born in Kerala, Menon faced financial hardships early in life after the demise of his father.

From Humble Beginnings to Real Estate Mogul

With only Rs 50 to his name, he accepted an invitation to work in Oman at the age of 26, where he ventured into interior decoration after securing a loan of Rs 3.5 lakh. His strong work ethic and talent led to recognition, opening doors to bigger projects and opportunities, ultimately leading to the creation of a real estate empire with a market capitalization worth over Rs 14,700 crores.

Under the visionary guidance of PNC Menon, the Sobha Group founded in 1995 has established a distinguished presence in the upscale real estate sector, elevating standards of excellence and artistry. This accomplishment stands as a testament to his extensive expertise and unwavering dedication, serving as a source of inspiration for budding entrepreneurs and industry experts to unlock the potential within the dynamic business environment.

PNC Menon’s remarkable achievements have been recognized both nationally and internationally, notably with the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Puraskar in 2009 from the President of India. In a philanthropic gesture, Menon has pledged that 50% of his wealth that goes towards benefiting society, demonstrating a profound understanding of the impact wealth can have beyond personal gain.
