According to the annual report, the company implemented several programs aimed at improving access to quality education for students from economically weaker backgrounds.

One of the key initiatives is the Jammu Super 30 program, which provides coaching and residential support to talented students from underprivileged communities. The program helps students prepare for competitive engineering entrance examinations.

The report highlights that many participants of the program have secured admission to prestigious engineering institutions across India.

Petronet LNG also partnered with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) to support the Naipunyam skill development program in Kochi.

This initiative provides specialized technical training to young people, helping them acquire skills required for employment in industrial sectors.

In addition, the company supported infrastructure development in schools, including the construction of classrooms, laboratories, and libraries.

One of the most notable initiatives during the year was the “Wheels of Change” program, under which 3,500 bicycles were distributed to school-going girls in Navsari, Gujarat.

The report highlights that the initiative aims to reduce school dropout rates by making it easier for girls to travel to schools located far from their homes.

In addition, the company distributed sewing machines to women from economically weaker sections, enabling them to start small home-based businesses.

The annual report highlights that such programs support ecological balance while improving green cover in industrial areas.

Support to National Funds

In addition to community development projects, Petronet LNG contributed to national relief and development funds.
