New Delhi: Nabet India and Flipkart has collaborated to empower disabled people.
On 31 Jul, Nabet India got a huge fillip for its initiative in which Nabet India would train and produce handicrafts through rural artisans.
Flipkart on the other hand would provide a sale platform of such products through its e- commerce platform.
The arrangement would give artisans an access to a large customer base and market spread across the country.
“Over 25000 artisans registered with Nabet India will be benefited with the agreement between two entities”, Usha Mishra, Managing Trustee, Nabet India said.
“This is a kind of model that shall spur growth and is exactly what our Prime Minister has envisaged in his “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” model of development”, Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Thakur stated.
Nabet also imparts IT/ ITES training to its blind and handicapped trainees besides making handicrafts.
Such ITES trained beneficiaries shall find employment through tele-promotions and customer support operation services involved in sales and marketing of handicrafts.
