Who is Eligible for MBA Exams?

All the students or early career professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in Business Management and related fields can apply for MBA entrance exams. Typically, the following are the basic eligibility requirements that makes you eligible for appearing for MBA exams:

  • The first requirement is that the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university or institute. The candidate must have earned at least 50% overall or the equivalent in their bachelor’s degree program. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in any professional course, such as Engineering or Medicine, are also eligible for the exam.
  • Those appearing for their final year exams are also eligible to apply for the exam. However, they are required to show proof of their final year results at the time of admission.
  • The minimum age requirement to take the exam is 21 years old, while the maximum age limit is usually 30 years depending on the institute. Some institutes also have a relaxation on the maximum age limit for reserved category candidates.
  • In addition to these fundamental prerequisites, some institutes could have other standards that a candidate must also achieve to qualify for the exam.

To be eligible for MBA exams in India, the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute, pass a valid entrance exam, and meet the minimum and maximum age limits. Meeting these criteria will ensure that the candidate is eligible for the MBA exam.
