Lend a Hand and Spread the Cheer: Touching the Lives of Kids

NEW DELHI: With a constant endeavor of not only driving organizational but also social growth and development, CHD Developers has started yet another heart-warming and credible CSR campaign – “Lend a Hand and spread the cheer”. An extension of their special social sensitization program “Komal Ankur”, this campaign has been designed to provide the not so fortunate children with the most basic need – the need of clothing.

Through this initiative every employee at CHD Developers was invited to donate clothes, stationery and toys at CHD’s corporate office and all the collections from it will be distributed amongst all the children at Avenue 71’s crèche.

The participation received throughout has been very positive as CHD’s employees have donated generously. Not only that, this initiative has also been extended to CHD’s social profiles to extend the opportunity to participate in this noble cause to everyone else.

Expressing his views on this, Mr. Gaurav Mittal, Managing Director, CHD Developers said, “Carrying on with our CSR endeavor we wanted to engage the entire CHD family in a campaign to sensitize them to the needs of the underprivileged kids and encourage them to extend a helping hand. I am overwhelmed to see the response of our employees already. We will ensure that we come up with more such initiatives in the future as well.”

Mr. Ravi Saund , COO, CHD Developers Ltd. echoed the same sentiment. He added, “We have to realize the importance of adding value to the society. You don’t have to be a billionaire to give back to the society. In our own small ways, we can contribute to the community a little bit what we owe to it. With this campaign we are addressing the basic but ignored need of clothing. Your kids’ used stuff lying in one corner of your house as junk will bring much needed cheer and relief to these 50 kids who we give shelter in the crèche at Avenue 71”

CHD is confident that this campaign will be as huge a success as ‘Komal Ankur’ and will illuminate lives of these kids. After all, good wishes and heartfelt prayers never go unnoticed.

Established over two decades ago, CHD Developers Limited is the leader of innovative development in the north Indian real estate sector. Their innovative approach has led them to become a formidable force in the Indian real-estate industry. Their projects at Karnal, Delhi NCR Vrindavan, Haridwar and Sohna Road, Gurgaon speak volumes about their commitment to provide world class living standards to their customers. CHD Developers Ltd. is publicly traded at Bombay Stock Exchange since 1995.
