HARIDWAR: Legrand Group India, a specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure initiated a vaccination drive at its Telemedicine center in Haridwar.
A camp was organised for the age group of 18 to 45 on June 25th, 2021 along with Sambhav Foundation who are locally supporting the Legrand team. The Legrand team was successful in getting 272 localites vaccinated within one day which was administered by local PHC and doctors.
The ongoing pandemic has made things challenging for countless people across the country and this has indeed tremendously disrupted the socio-economic circumstances globally. Even post the government extending lockdowns has not resolved the situation and the only weapon that can prevent the spread of the virus is vaccination. In efforts to boost the vaccination process in India, Legrand Group India aims to step up its pace to help citizens to battle COVID-19.
Legrand team provided the required infrastructure, which included space for registration kiosk, waiting areas and observation areas. The camp was organised to support the local government to facilitate vaccination to weaker communities of the society as a part of Legrand’s CSR initiative. The company aims to set up similar camps at its Telemedicine center to cover maximum villagers in Aneki & nearby villages in Haridwar.

During the course of past recent months Legrand Group India has been working hard and has initiated various activities like providing PPE Kits, Masks, Sanitizers, Medical Infrastructure, Formation of Isolation Wards and Quarantine Centres in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and Haryana in fight against COVID-19.
