He received the prestigious ‘Impact Leader Award’ for is significant contribution in building a Resilient India during COVID-19 pandemic.
In the wake of COVID 19 pandemic, KAUSHALYA Foundation has responded through providing humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable people in several locations across India The major interventions are:
Providing cooked meals (47 lakh meal as till date) 2) Providing dry ration packets.
Providing safety hygiene kits and 4) Covid 19 Awareness Campaign in rural Bihar.
Farmers First: Ensuring agri produce access to the market (input, output & extension activity).
The KF had provided the free transport facilities with the support of local administration and linked them to the nearest market and linked them with buyers.
Total approx. 450 metric ton Agri produce has been marketed through this channel during the lockdown period March to June 2020.
Free seeds and small farm equipment worth INR 90.50 lacs have been distributed to vulnerable farmers and migrants who had returned and were willing to do farming.
