JSPL Barbil Felicitated with State Safety Awards

BARBIL: Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), Barbil unit has won three awards in State Safety Awards for 2011, 2012 and 2013 organised by Directorate of Factories & Boilers, Government of Odisha.

The Company has been given 3rd Award in the category of Government Award for Factories who worked more than 25 Lakh man-hours during the year 2013 and Best Environment Management Award sponsored by National Safety Council, Odisha Chapter.

VCS Rao, Vice-President and Hercules Jena, AGM (Safety) received the Award from Minister for Steel & Mines and Labour Prafulla Mallick, Principal Secretary Labour and Employee’ State Insurance G Srinivas, and Labour Commissioner  Shalini Pandit on June 11, 2015 at Bhubaneswar. Hercules Jena, AGM (Safety) has won the Best Safety Officer Award, sponsored by National Safety Council, Odisha Chapter.
