Transforming Lives Through Education and Sanitation

The core of Integra Engineering’s CSR efforts in 2024-25 focused on impactful projects aligned with the Companies Act, 2013’s Schedule VII, emphasizing education, sanitation, and broader community welfare. These initiatives were meticulously planned to create healthier and more equitable environments, especially for young girls.

A significant achievement in sanitation was the construction of 10 new toilets specifically for girl students. Recognizing the importance of hygiene infrastructure, the company also undertook the replacement of 36 old doors for existing toilets and bathrooms used by students. These actions directly address critical needs, promoting better health, dignity, and school attendance for female students.

Furthermore, Integra Engineering extended its support to students residing in boarding facilities by providing 100 bunk-beds complete with mattresses, pillows, and bed sheets. This initiative directly improves living conditions, ensuring a more comfortable and conducive environment for learning and well-being. These tangible contributions underscore the company’s commitment to creating supportive infrastructure for education.

A Strategic Approach to Social Responsibility

Integra Engineering’s CSR philosophy is deeply embedded in its corporate governance framework. The company believes in fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development, which it achieves by aligning its CSR policy with the activities specified in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. This strategic alignment ensures that their efforts are not just statutory obligations but a reflection of their values and a long-term vision for inclusive development.

The CSR initiatives are overseen by a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. For the financial year 2025, this committee was chaired by Mrs. Corinne Ruckstuhl, a Non-Executive Director, with Adrian Oehler, a Non-Executive Director, and Mahendra Bhogilal Sanghvi, an Independent Director, serving as members. This committee met three times during the financial year to discuss focus areas and expenditure. Their responsibilities include formulating and recommending the CSR policy and annual action plan, recommending expenditure, and monitoring policy implementation. The company’s CSR policy and annual action plan are publicly available on its website, emphasizing transparency.

Beyond Compliance: A Vision for the Future

Integra Engineering India Limited’s commitment extends beyond financial contributions; it embodies a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The company’s efforts in sustainability were recognized with the prestigious EcoVadis Silver Medal for 2024-25, acknowledging its strides in environmental responsibility and corporate governance. Additionally, Integra received the Gold Award at the QCFI External Kaizen Competition, reflecting its dedication to operational excellence.

The company is not resting on its laurels. It continues to invest in advanced machinery and manufacturing process automation, aiming to strengthen its ERP and monitoring systems to support anticipated growth. With over 90% of its revenue derived from contract manufacturing for OEMs, the company is focused on strategic growth by expanding its product portfolio and actively exploring export markets. These steps, coupled with their consistent and exceeding CSR contributions, paint a picture of a company deeply invested in both its financial performance and its social and environmental impact.
