Seeking Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) for Collaboration on Nationwide Projects
MUMBAI (India CSR): India Exim Bank, a premier financial institution backed by the Government of India, announced today its search for proposals under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The bank aims to partner with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) across the country to drive initiatives designed to combat social, economic, and environmental challenges.
Promoting Holistic Development
The Bank’s CSR proposal seeks to target a wide array of objectives, focusing primarily on sectors where social responsibility can have a significant impact. These objectives include eradicating hunger, poverty, and malnutrition, promoting healthcare, sanitation, education, financial literacy, skill enhancement, and training. The proposal is also directed towards activities and programs aimed at preparing the youth and women of the country for gainful employment.
This initiative is expected to bring about a significant change in the livelihoods of women artisans, weavers, and rural craftsmen. By supporting these often neglected segments of society, the Bank aims to empower them and create a more inclusive economy.
Boosting Sports and Environment Conservation
Sports and environment conservation also feature prominently in the Bank’s CSR agenda. It is eager to fund projects supporting sports, sportspersons, and the development of playgrounds. In a bid to emphasize the importance of a healthy environment, the Bank also seeks proposals for projects and activities aimed at protecting the ecology and mitigating the impact of climate change.
Invitation to Collaborate
India Exim Bank encourages all eligible NGOs to submit their proposals in the prescribed format, accessible on the Bank’s official website. The Bank has appointed Mr. Renzdon Rodrigues as the main point of contact for any queries related to the CSR proposals. He can be reached at +91 8007686622 or via email at renzdon.r@eximbankindia.in
