BHUBANESWAR: AM/NS India has been recognized for its innovative CSR education initiatives- ‘Padhega Bharat’ and ‘Digital Pathashala’ at the 12th India CSR Award held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on August 12, 2023, by India CSR Network. India CSR Awards recognize Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.

On behalf of AM/NS India, the award was received by Dr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head CSR, from Pradeep Gandhi, Hon’ble Former Member of Parliament in the presence of Sujeet Kumar, Member Parliament, Mayank Gandhi, Founder and Chief Trustee, Global Vikas Trust, Rusen Kumar, Founder and Managing Editor, India CSR at the 2nd India ESG Summit and 12th India CSR Awards 2023.
CSR Project Features
CSR projects ‘PadhegaBharat‘ and ‘DigitalPathashala’ under which the company revamps government schools in rural India and aims to update their setup and facilities into model one. the schools get fully equipped with infrastructure, furniture and technology and designated smart classrooms for classes 9th and 10th, and other computer labs, e-libraries, safe drinking waters, playgrounds, etc., across 700 government schools.
AI-enabled e-smart classrooms for improving the quality of learning among the students in all subjects of Class 6th to 8th Standard and enabled learning to boost up the rural Govt. education system through digital education. Facilitating the overall development of the students by providing them access to the learning-based app and modern teaching methodologies was declared the Winner in the Education category.
Company’s Commitment to Education
Speaking about the focus on education as part of CSR, Dr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head CSR, AM/NS India said: “We are committed to improving access and quality of education in Government schools in rural and under-resourced communities. AM/NS India aims to bridge the gap between education and employability among the rural population of children by providing them access to digital learning and thereby building digital literacy in India.”
“With the vision of bridging the gap in educational opportunities, AM/NS India has been working towards transforming old and dilapidated government schools into model schools by modernizing the infrastructure and building new facilities to give students a better learning experience and environment. This has also helped increase the enrolment rate of students and arrest the dropout rates in these schools. This award would not have been possible without the trust placed in us by the communities we work with, and we thank them for this.”, he added.
Achievements and Impact
Till now, AM/NS India has transformed 800 government schools under the PadhegaBharat project and has set up AI-enabled e- smart classrooms in 100 government school under DigitalPathashala project across 5 states. The initiative has benefitted 4.5 lakh students from marginalized sections of society.
