UDAIPUR: Presented by ICICI Lombard and CNBC TV 18, the India Risk Management Awards – 2018 recognized the companies that have developed best in class risk management practices and capabilities across business categories. The award has been conferred to Hindustan Zinc for implementing best risk management practices in sustainability.
On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, Amitabh Gupta – CFO, Laxman Shekhawat – COO Mines, V.P. Joshi – Head Safety & Sustainability and Ravinarayan Joshi received the award in a glittering function in Mumbai on 19th January 2018.
The jury for India Risk Management Awards 2018 included Arundhati Bhattacharya, Former Chairman SBI and the award was presented by Dr. Nouriel Roubini, Professor of Economics, NYUs Stern School of Business and Chairman & Co-founder, Roubini Global Economics.
The selection process for India Risk Management Award consists of analysis of company data, systems and frameworks of the organization. It is a grand event which witnesses the coming together of the entire management whose prime focus is mitigating risk.
