NEW DELHI: Hindustan Zinc received yet another accolade, the “CII ITC Sustainability Award 2014- Outstanding accomplishment” under the Corporate Excellence, in a glittering function organized in New Delhi.
The award was given by Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment & Forest. Also present on the dais were Meenakshi Lekhi – Hon’ble Member of Parliament, YC Deveshwar, Chairman, ITC and Chandrajit Banerjeee, Director General, CII.
On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, the “CII ITC Sustainability Award 2014- Outstanding accomplishment” was received by Mahesh Todkar – Unit Head (Unit-1), MK Yadav – Head Environment and Hitendra Bhuptawat – Manager IMS & Sustainability, all from Chanderiya Zinc-Lead Smelter.
