RAIPUR: Godawari Power & Ispat Limited under its community development initiative has tried for empowering women of tribal belt. This time Company under its corporate social responsibility has aimed to strengthen the women group through stitching & tailoring training.
Inaugurating the tailoring training center at village Dorba in Manpur Tehsil, district of Rajnandgaon, in the State of Chhattisgarh addressed the community to earn more by your leisure time and this is an initiative of company to strengthen the women groups in the society.
Devlal Matlame Gram Patel & Sukhlal Dugga, Secretary, Dorba Kshetriya Aadivasi Khadan Sharmik Kalyan Samiti has attended the function as Chief Guest and Praised Company for taking of such type of initiative which motivate the women’s in the region.
In this function Rajesh Srivastav, Sr.Manager (GPIL) & Abhijeet Shrivastava, PRO (Mines) were also present. In this training centre GPIL provided sewing machines, course material and arranged a trainer as well to train the trainees.
Duration of training will be of three months and after getting trained, all the participants will be awarded with certificates from Godawari Power & Ispat Limited and will help them to income in future.
Initially 02 batches of 20 trainees will go through training programme. The women of village Dorba, Bodra, Kamkasur & Dhulki will be benefitted from this training center.
