MUMBAI (India CSR): Godrej Industries Group, in partnership with the Bhamla Foundation, launched the ‘Bhoomi Namaskar’ campaign to combat land degradation. The campaign includes an interactive video and poster released on World Environment Day 2024.
The event featured celebrities like Malaika Arora, Jackie Shroff, and Raveena Tandon, who supported the cause.
Campaign Highlights
- Tree Plantation Drive: Launched on 15th May at Jamnabai Narsee International School, aiming to plant 10,000 trees in six months across Mumbai schools.
- Green Ride Cyclothon: Held on 5th June with 800 participants, including Godrej employees, to promote sustainable practices.
Supported by the Ministry of Environment, Maharashtra Forest Department, MCGM, UNEP, and lifestyle platform Godrej L’Affaire, the campaign emphasizes the urgency of land restoration.
