The ET Awards for Corporate Exellence with theme of ‘The Act of giving’


MUMBAI: Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will kick off The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Exellence 2010 on Saturday, January 8ET awards CE with ‘ The Act of giving’ as the theme.

After a decade of extraordinary and entrepreneurial wealth creation, it is now time for India Inc to face the hard question: Is it giving back enough to society?, ET reports.

A panel comprising sefl-made entrepreneurs Sunil Mittal and Shiv Nadar, and Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khrushid, moderated by , will engage over 350 CEOs in a discussion o giving.

In the run-up to the award, this is the first in a series of stories that explore the changing face of Global and Indian philanthropy.
