NEW DELHI: India Sanitation Coalition is organizing a two day India Sanitation Conclave on Achieving sustainable sanitation through multi-stakeholder collaborations on April 27th -28th, 2016 at FICCI, New Delhi.
The India Sanitation Conclave will be a high-level summit, with sustainability at the forefront of its mission. The ISC, in collaboration with FICCI, has constituted the ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards, aimed at identifying and recognizing the efforts of various stakeholders, across the whole sanitation value chain of Build-Use-Maintain-Treat.
The awards jury is being chaired by the eminent scientist and Padma Vibhushan awardee Dr R.A. Mashelkar.
The winners of the first edition of ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards will be felicitated during the Conclave followed by panel discussions underscoring key themes in this space including challenges, business opportunities in sanitation, role of Faith Based Organisations (FBOs), identifying skills development, etc.
The Conclave will serve as a knowledge and best practices sharing platform drawing participation from experts across sectors including global thought leaders, policy makers and development partners. Venkaiah Naidu, Minister for Urban Development has been invited as the Chief Guest for the event.
