Noida: DFM Foods has launched a CSR program to improve nutritional status of children in Delhi NCR & Lucknow. The program will be implemented by MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child.
The CSR initiativeaims to cover children between the age group of 6 and 14 years living in the urban resettlement/slums of West Delhi, Noida and Lucknow.
During the launch which was attended by community experts and representatives of DFM Foods and MAMTA, Lagan Shastri, MD & CEO of DFM Foods said, “We believe through this project, the community will be sensitized on the importance of health & nutrition”
“This project will also witness a positive behavioral shift from the existing unhygienic Water, Sanitation and Hygiene habits thereby improving their nutritional habits as well.

Mr. Kajal Debnath, Chief Regulatory Officer at DFM Foods expressed the company’s CSR committee’s commitment to fulfil their social responsibility for the betterment of the society andensure sustainable nutrition for children betweenthe age group of 6 to 14 years.
DFM Foods Ltd. is in the business of manufacturing, selling and marketing of packaged snack foods for over 25 years.
MAMTA has been working on Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition since 1990. And now, in collaboration with the CSR team from DFM Foods Ltd., the organization will further work to improve the nutrition and health status among children between the age group of 6 and14 years living in urban villages of West Delhi, Noida and Lucknow.
