Asian Paints Ltd. has become a water positive entity, replenishing 3.8 times its freshwater consumption, thereby addressing India’s severe water scarcity issue affecting 91 million people. Under CSR, the company has spent Rs. 23.4 crores on water conservation initiatives, including water harvesting and regeneration, exceeding its 2022-23 target and creating a water harvesting potential of 195%. Asian Paints has also planned to set up a new water-based paint facility, furthering its commitment to environmental sustainability. This achievement sets the stage for the company’s ambitious water stewardship targets for 2025 and 2030.
