NEW DELHI: CSR is all about being fair in the business and doing the bit for the welfare of society. India has a long history of philanthropy, but corporate India had also been very active in social welfare activities. With the Companies Act, 2013 the corporate in India has now started formally planning, execution and reporting of CSR Projects. There is a great excitement in the society to know about the great projects which remain unknown to them.
There is hardly any media coverage and the major stakeholders remain isolated. It is imperative for the CSR Leaders to bring their work to society through formal meetings, seminars and publications which will help the next generation of CSR Leaders too, in learning the nuances of such mega projects.
Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi and INDIACSR (Largest portal of CSR in India) are Jointly organizing National Summit on Best Practices in CSR: Learning and Future Ahead on 3rd March 2017 at New Delhi.
The projects which have been phenomenal in their impact on human life and the planet need to be discussed on big platforms. This summit is also planned in similar way where 100+ participants from Corporate, NGOs, Central & State Governments and Researchers will come together and share their views. Eminent CSR Experts from all over country will also join as panellist.
The summit will provide a platform for the companies with their operations in India, to showcase the work being carried out in CSR Domain and how it forms an integral part of the company’s strategy. Selected 10 CSR Projects with complete details will be presented by CSR Leaders from organisations like Bharti Foundation, Vedanta Foundation, Reliance Foundation, Ericsson Foundation, Aroh Foundation, Hand in Hand Hospitals, Stem Learning, Synergy Solar, Coal India Limited, IRCON India etc.
