UDAIPUR: Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative, State Bank of India collaborated with Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS) by offering a school bus for the differently-abled and deprived in Udaipur.
SBI team visited Narayan Seva Sansthan’s smart village where they handed over a 32-seater bus to support differently abled individuals and needy for their education at the Narayan Children’s Academy.
Remarkable to note is that the smart village by Narayan Seva Sansthan is one of its own kind of initiative which is meant to facilitate differently abled with all kind of disability friendly infrastructure.
State Bank of India, General Manager (South), Shiv Om Dixit said that, “Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign, SBI aims to empower the economically, physically and socially challenged by offering facilities to cater to the needy. This school bus will help the students to go from village to school for the deprived and needy for better education and future.”
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “The gesture from SBI Bank is commendable and it reflects SBI’s core values which is to facilitate every individual in the same manner and to offer everybody best of services. We are giving free education to the needy and with this extension in conveyance facility, differently abled students coming from villages would definitely benefit.”
A few days ago, NSS also donated 11 lakhs for the construction of the Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya.
