RAIGARH: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Sunday inaugurated the renovated mulch-purpose indoor stadium and the athletic track at Raigarh Stadium, which has been built at a cost of around Rs 2.50 crore by Jindal Power Limited (JPL), a Navin Jindal led company.
The construction and renovation have been done under corporate social responsibility of Jindal Power.
During the inauguration Vishnu Dev Sai, Central Minister; Ram Sevak Paikra, Home Minister, CG Govt. ; Amar Agrawal, Health Minister; Roshan Lal Agrawal, MLA Raigarh and Mahendra Chauhtha, Raigarh Mayor were present.
In the occasion officials from JPL including Ram Niwas, President, JPL; DK Bhargava, AVP; GL Duwedi, Sr. GM; Albert D Peter, DGM and other were present.
The renovated facilities at stadium will be used to host swimming, table tennis, Cricket, basket ball, volleyball, badminton, and athletics at the district and state level.
