NEW DELHI (India CSR): Nippon Paint has partnered with ‘Project Puthri’ to uplift underprivileged girl students in Tamil Nadu under CSR.
This initiative offers life skills training, education, and mentorship, with a vision for 80% of these scholars to secure white-collar jobs.
Commencing at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Walajabad, Kancheepuram, the project identifies high-potential girls aged 13-18 from government schools and provides them with a five-year comprehensive training program across various life dimensions.
Mahesh Anand of Nippon Paint underscored the significance of this venture in shaping the future through education and mentorship.
The initiative also introduced the Puthri Anthem and engaging activities to promote its cause.
