Dr. Vikas is Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability skilled professional and have worked in various sectors ranging from the Extractive Industries/ Mining and Metals/Energy to NGO’s.
He possesses a comprehensive experience in Project Planning, Meetings & Reviews, Monitoring, Program Management, Resource Management, Documentation, Reporting, Corporate Employee Engagement programs and Community Management activities with respect to all functions of the socio-economic development projects. Expertise in liaising with government departments at all levels across geographies, donor agencies and NGOs.
Hands-on experience of managing CSR and R&R issues of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects and ensure proper redressal of project-affected communities. He has a proactive management style with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Possess sound knowledge and reporting on Global CSR/ Social standard like GRI, SDR and Indian Legislative requirement like CSR Company Act 2013, RFCTLARR Act 2013 and so on. He has successfully led several program and projects directly and in convergence and sustained it for lasting impact. Conducted and executed several study report’s i.e Socio Economic, Baseline, concurrent and Social Impact Assessment studies.
He is currently working as Head – CSR of AM/NS India. He had previously worked with Essar Foundation, Vedanta Resources plc. and BASIX, micro enterprise institution.
After completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from Xavier Institute of Social Service, He did Ph.D. from Department of Rural and Reconstruction Development Management, Magadh University, Certificate of Professional Development course in CSR from U21 Global Graduate School.
On behalf of company received several CSR Awards and accolades such as Odisha-Live, Odisha CSR Forum, OTTET telemedicine and conferred with ‘Most Impactful CSR Leaders Globally’. Represented and participated in seminars and workshops as guest lecture/speaker invited by Odisha CSR Forum, CII, Jharkhand Chamber & Commerce, academic institution and others.
