For further strengthening of the rural economy of North East India, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth has been working on value chain projects.
To pursue the mission of sustainable livelihoods, ICICI Foundation signed an MOU with North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi).
This MOU will benefit the villagers in North-Eastern states through enhancing skill sets, developing production systems via local entrepreneurship development and widening market linkages.
NEDFi has been engaging itself in various developmental and promotional activities of NER since its inception, which has helped to build its image as a developmental financial institution of the North Eastern Region of India.
This policy on Corporate Social Responsibility is an effort to make NEDFi’s CSR activities more effective and meaningful and to channelize it in a manner which will enable this Corporation to touch more lives and bring more smiles to people, NEDFi said in its website.
