Chennai: iOPEX Technologies has announced a partnership with Bhumi NGO to provide skill-based education to 1,500 students at the Perunthalaiva Kamarajar Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Ambattur, Chennai. The initiative, which is part of Iopex’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, will focus on STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and environmental studies. Through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities, the program aims to empower underprivileged students and help them discover their true potential.
Shiv Kumar, Chairman and Chief Mentor of Iopex Technologies, commented on the launch of the program, saying, “These disciplines will help in creating visionaries, innovative thinkers, dreamers, and problem solvers for future India.” Kumar also highlighted the importance of climate action awareness in the face of the urgent crisis of climate change, stating that the program aims to empower children to lead change through contextual hands-on experiments.
