ASUS Foundation Deepens Commitment to Inclusive Education with Laptop Donation Drive in Ladakh
LADAKH: With a vision to bridge the digital divide and bring quality education to remote regions, ASUS Foundation, the CSR arm of ASUS India, has donated laptops and computers to two schools in Ladakh. This thoughtful initiative has brought new opportunities for hundreds of students at Jamyang School and Rigjung School, opening doors to the world of digital learning and AI education.
New Computer Labs Bring Technology Closer to Young Minds
ASUS Foundation not only donated All-in-One (AIO) systems and ASUS consumer notebooks, but also inaugurated brand-new Computer Labs in both schools. These labs will serve as dedicated spaces where students can learn basic computing, develop digital literacy, and explore technology-first skills essential for the future.
The inauguration ceremony on June 4, 2025, marked a memorable day for students and teachers alike, as they stepped into these modern learning spaces for the first time.

Learning Beyond the Screens: ASUS Volunteers Share Knowledge
Going beyond the donation, ASUS organized engaging learning sessions for the students. Volunteers from ASUS introduced the children to basic computer skills and gave them a hands-on experience with computing devices. They also shared an introduction to AI tools, igniting curiosity about the future of technology.
The sessions ended with fun learning activities, making the students more confident in using digital tools.
