Axis Bank Limited has surpassed its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments for the FY 2022-23, according to its latest financial report. The bank was mandated to spend Rs. 199.46 crores, which is 2% of its average net profit as per India’s Companies Act, 2013. However, it exceeded this obligation by spending Rs. 201.92 crores on CSR initiatives. This additional expenditure of Rs. 2.46 crores highlights Axis Bank’s dedication to societal development beyond regulatory requirements, reinforcing its position as a socially responsible corporate entity.
