SURAT (India CSR): ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has inaugurated an AI-enabled digital classroom at the government primary school in Kawas village as part of its CSR initiative, project “Digital Pathshala.” This project is designed to bridge the gap in rural education by integrating modern technology, making learning more engaging and accessible to students in underprivileged areas.
Key figures at the event included Truptiben Patel, President of the Taluka Panchayat, Choryasi, and Dr. Anil Matoo, Head of Corporate Affairs, Hazira, AM/NS India. Local leaders, school staff, students, and parents were also present, highlighting the community’s involvement in the initiative.
Enhancing Learning with Technology
The AI-enabled classroom aims to introduce students to innovative learning methods. Equipped with modern devices and AI-powered tools, the classroom will provide an interactive educational experience, better preparing students for the demands of a digital future.
Dr. Anil Matoo emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating:
“This AI-enabled classroom is a significant step towards empowering students in rural areas. By offering them access to digital resources, we aim to enhance their educational journey and increase their future employability.”
Demonstration and Community Support
The inauguration ceremony featured a live demonstration of the digital classroom’s capabilities, with students and dignitaries engaging in an interactive session. Community leaders praised the project for its potential to improve education quality in rural areas.
Expanding “Digital Pathshala”
As part of Project “Digital Pathshala,” AM/NS India has already equipped 23 government primary schools in Surat with AI-enabled digital classrooms. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to empowering local communities through technology-driven education.
