Ajmera’s CSR initiative ‘i-Green’ contributes towards the Tree Plantation Drive by Govt of Maharashtra

MUMBAI: Ajmera Realty, one of the most trusted and leading real estate players pledged to plant more than 1500 trees as its contribution towards the Tree Plantation drive jointly with the State Government and Forest Ministry on July 1, 2016. The drive was inaugurated by Atul Ajmera – Director, Ajmera Realty and Manoj Ajmera, Managing Director, Ajmera Realty.
Ajmera Realty has always been a brand that has a strong inclination towards an environmental balance hence joining hands with the government was the most seamless drive initiated. i-Green by Ajmera, will also elevate the buyer-developer relation as they pledge to plant three trees for every fkat booked. The trees will be on the name of the buyer so as to encourage the same value and work towards a greener Mumbai.
To kick start the initiative, Ajmera Realty planted over 300 plus trees on the 1 July 2016 at their Bhakti Park project in Wadala. The drive witnessed people coming forward including, Integral Partners, customers and the entire working force by Ajmera Realty.
Talking about joining hands with the government, Dhaval Ajmera, Director Ajmera Realty says, “We are extremely thankful to the Forest Ministry and the State Government for giving us this opportunity to do our bit for the environment. We truly believe that Buildings, infrastructure and the environment are inseparably linked. Materials, energy, water and land are all consumed in the construction of buildings and infrastructure.”
He said that these consecutively become part of our living environment, affecting our living conditions. It is therefore vital to give back to the environment in every way possible. This tree plantation drive will be followed by us going forward from now on and we envision planting as many trees as possible.”
A customer 96 years of age from Ajmera Realty – Achrekar said that planting a tree at the age of 96 gave me an opportunity to give back to nature in my own small way. It is indeed a great thought by Ajmera Realty, this would let our coming generations lead a healthy life. The purpose will definitely help promote and protect the green cover in the state. We are obliged to be a part of the entire initiative.
