AIIMS, Department of Pediatrics, Child Neurology Division, and The Hans Foundation (THF) have inked an agreement to implement a multidisciplinary project, “Holding Hand in Magical Years: Early Childhood Development & Neurorehabilitation Centre.” This initiative aims to maximize the developmental potential of children based on their capabilities, with a target of serving over 10,000 children annually.
In India, about 12% of children suffer from neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), with almost half at risk due to a lack of identification and treatment. The facility will aid in the early identification of NDDs like Autism, ADHD, and others while providing multidisciplinary care, contributing to an inclusive society that upholds humanistic values.
