MUMBAI: With growing infrastructure and rapidly increasing development, we are somewhere forgetting to preserve our mother nature. In order to modify framework and adapt the western influence, we have been detrimental towards our environment. To shed light on this tender matter, the versatile abstract artist and philanthropist, Krupa Shah from Krupa Arts took a brilliant initiative to save one of Mumbai’s renowned and historic parks, Priyadashini Park.
SAVE PDP was an artistic drive conducted by Krupa Shah along with other accomplished personalities wherein children in a humongous number enrolled for this very initiative to carve some beautiful paintings. The paintings revolved around saving PDP and they were a sight for the sore eyes.
Krupa said, “Initially, we had around 200 registrations. However, on the very day of the event, we had more than 500 kids enrolled on the spot. Their vision, their thought process, and their passion for art are commendable. I along with fellow judges had a very difficult time to choose the best out of all those masterpieces.”
The event witnessed a crowd ranging from 5 years to 25 years supporting the lovely cause. How we wish there were more such individuals like Krupa Shah who encouraged art and saving the environment together.
