Through its dedicated CSR arm, the company has positively impacted lives by aligning its initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Stakeholder engagement is crucial for effective program management, involving community advisory panels and CSR committees at the plant level to foster positive partnerships for local development.
Education: Enhancing Learning Outcomes
In the domain of education, ACC is dedicated to improving the quality of education and learning outcomes. Key interventions include Project Kalika Siri, which supports slow learners in the 10th grade, and the establishment of 16 schools across various locations, ensuring high-quality education for children from host communities. In 2023-24, these initiatives impacted 32,722 beneficiaries.

ACC’s community health initiatives span 101 villages across 13 sites, providing services through Mobile Health Care Units, clinics, and healthcare outreach camps. The company also contributed to installing a CT-scan facility at the district hospital in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh, enhancing healthcare access for the community. Skill Development: Empowering the Youth
Aligned with the Government of India’s Skill India Mission, ACC’s Adani Skill Development Centre empowers youth through certification programs. Since April 2023, 1,881 youths have been enrolled in these programs across 12 ACC sites, impacting 2,869 beneficiaries.

ACC actively promotes water conservation among communities, undertaking initiatives like deepening ponds and constructing check dams. The company also collaborates with government departments to enhance education quality by reinforcing infrastructure in government schools and Anganwadi centres.
