A new community-focused digital platform, Ababill, has been launched with the aim of bringing mosques, local businesses, and Muslim households onto a single digital network. The Ababill application is designed to address common challenges faced by mosque committees and community members, including limited coordination, scattered information, and lack of structured communication at the city level.

The platform positions itself as a practical tool for masjid management, community engagement, and local networking. It is now available for public download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, making it accessible to Android and iOS users.

Addressing a Long-Standing Coordination Gap

In most cities, mosques function independently. Information related to prayer timings, donations, trustees, classes, or community programs often remains limited to physical notice boards or informal messaging groups. This lack of coordination can lead to confusion, delayed communication, and missed opportunities for collaboration.

Ababill has been developed to bring structure to this ecosystem. By placing verified mosques and registered community members on one platform, it creates a shared space where information is updated in real time and accessible to all stakeholders.

Role-Based Registration for Clear Access

A key feature of the Ababill application is its role-based registration system. Users can sign up as members, trustees, imams, ulama, or business owners. Each role comes with a dedicated dashboard designed to keep functions simple and clearly defined.

Trustees can post announcements, manage donations, and update mosque-related information. Imams and scholars can share schedules for prayers, classes, and religious sessions. General members can stay informed, receive alerts, and engage with mosque activities without relying on third-party platforms.

Support for Local Businesses Within the Community

The platform also provides advertisement listing options for local businesses. Registered business owners can list their services and reach nearby community members through the app. The listings are designed to remain functional and relevant, without aggressive promotion.

For users, this creates a local directory of services within the community. For businesses, it offers a direct connection to potential customers who already share geographic and social ties.

Everyday Tools for Religious and Community Life

Beyond administration and donations, Ababill includes tools meant for daily use. These include prayer timetables, azaan alerts, and a built-in zakat calculator. Users can also locate nearby mosques while traveling within the city.

The app allows users to view announcements related to Quran classes, events, and community programs. Secure communication features make it possible for members to connect directly with mosque authorities and scholars when needed.

One City, One Digital Mosque Network

One of the distinguishing aspects of Ababill is its city-wide approach. Instead of operating as isolated entities, mosques on the platform become part of a unified digital map. This helps community members discover nearby mosques, learn about activities across the city, and explore joint initiatives.

Community discussions on local social issues can also take place within the platform, offering a structured space for dialogue and coordination.

Vision Guided by Community Welfare Work

The idea behind Ababill was shaped under the guidance of DarulSadaqah Charity Foundation, an organization involved in social welfare work across health, education, and environmental causes. Through its on-ground experience, the foundation identified the lack of digital coordination among mosques as a barrier to broader community engagement.

The platform is intended to support unity and communication while respecting existing mosque structures and leadership.

Development Team and Leadership

The Ababill application has been developed by Bakka Innovation Pvt. Ltd. under the leadership of its founder members Farhan Kachhi, Salim Shaikh, and Asif Sayyed. The founders worked closely with a core internal team to define the platform’s structure and objectives.

The technical development and system support have been handled by 10X Habibi Technologies, which serves as the official technology partner. The development focus has remained on usability, data security, and scalability so the system can support growing user numbers over time.

App Availability on Major Platforms

The Ababill application is now available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Users can install the app on their smartphones and complete role-based registration directly from the platform.

Organizers believe that availability on both Android and iOS will help expand participation across different age groups and regions.

Early Adoption and Future Direction

Since its launch, Ababill has drawn interest from mosque committees and community groups looking for structured digital solutions. While the platform is still in its early phase, it reflects a broader move toward organized, transparent systems within religious and community institutions.

Observers note that the long-term impact of such platforms depends on consistent use and trust built over time. If adopted widely, Ababill could serve as a reference model for city-level mosque coordination and community engagement.

A Measured Approach to Community Technology

Rather than positioning itself as a disruptive product, Ababill takes a functional approach. Its focus remains on routine use, clear communication, and shared responsibility. By combining mosque management, donations, announcements, and local business listings in one place, the platform aims to reduce friction in everyday community interactions.

As more communities explore digital tools for coordination, Ababill highlights how technology can support existing social systems while keeping decision-making and leadership within the community itself.
