Welspun Flooring Limited, a fully integrated and independent flooring vertical of USD 2.7 billion Welspun Group, has recently announced the successful conclusion of its first inoculation drive in Hyderabad, having vaccinated more than 1,800 members. The initiative targeted Welspun Flooring’s stakeholders including employees, contract workers and associates across age groups, along with their family members.
The drive was conducted in the medical facility of Welspun Flooring’s manufacturing unit in partnership with Apollo hospitals. The organisation enforced strict safety protocols at the vaccination centre and ensured that adequate physical distance was maintained. To further minimize contact, three separate rooms were provided for waiting, vaccination and observation with ample ventilation. The members were vaccinated under the supervision of an expert team of doctors, nurses and support staff. After the requisite time gap, the company plans to organise the second drive to ensure complete inoculation of members.

It has also set up Covid-Care centres and War rooms to help members leverage Welspun’s resources and networks for emergencies such as sourcing of various amenities/requirements including beds, medical consultation, and testing without hassle. The company has also rolled out mental, physical and social well-being programs including meditation sessions as well as on-boarding of nutritionists.
