Christel House India – A global initiative, which strives to help children from impoverished background and help them break the cycle of poverty, through a robust education, nutrition, character development and healthcare model, was visited by members of the Board of the Directors, Cognizant Foundation.
The visitors from Cognizant Foundation spent the day interacting with students of Christel House. The organization donated the education technology equipment including Handheld Tabs, Laptops and Projectors to support the Mind Spark Math Learning Program.
In the past, Cognizant Foundation had donated English Language Lab to Christel House for strengthening the language skills amongst the students.
Christel House has been working in India for the past 18 years. The school currently serves thousands of children from impoverished families in Bangalore and Naya Raipur. Over 500 of their graduates are gainfully employed or pursuing higher studies through scholarships provided by Christel House. Through this model Christel House India has successfully impacted, not just the students but their families as well.
