MUMBAI: India CSR Leadership Summit & Awards being organized by India CSR Network on May 26, 2016 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, India will witness participation of vibrant political leaders, CSR think tanks, thinkers, social reformers and Government officials. It would be one of the biggest CSR knowledge and idea sharing forum in the year 2017.
Prof. V. Reddappa Reddy, a renowned author on CSR, will be delivering a lecture at the meet. Prof. Reddy had his Masters in Economics from Sri Venkateswara University and Ph.D. in Rural Development from Sri Krishnadevaraya University. He served as Professor of Rural Development in Sri Krishnadevaraya University till his retirement June 2016, with 39 years of teaching and research experience in rural development and social work.
His areas of specialization include Corporate Social Responsibility, Natural Resources Management and Monitoring and Evaluation. He served as Consultant to National and International agencies like Family Health International, CARE, SOCHURSOD, UltraTech, Council for Advancement of Peoples Action and Rural Technology (functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India) and Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (Government of Andhra Pradesh).
His books include Social Satisfaction Survey: A Practical Help line in Techniques and Methods, Toolkit for Conducting Base Line Survey, Six Essential Steps in Implementing CSR, Participatory Forest Management: Theory and Practice-A Field Level Assessment and Rural Glory. His 35 papers appeared in National and International journals.
